Day 1. Arrive at Cochin Airport, begin your trip with the famous lake resort of Kerala--Kumarakom. The place is home to hundreds of fully-furnished and air-conditioned houseboats due to its backwater setting. Treat yourself to a full day of relaxation or get busy with a tour of the city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. From the lake, drive up to the mountains. Journey to the hill station of Kerala--Munnar. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Kerala during the drive to Munnar. Check in at the hotel, rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the weather.

Day 3. Visit Mattupatty Dam which is approximately 13km from Munnar. A popular picnic/family day-trip-place, and at one end they have boats for rent. You can also find some quiet places around this long lake/Dam.

Day 4. Drive around Munnar and visit Kolukumalai Tea Factory. The drive up hills is breathtakingly beautiful. On the way is an echo spot, where you can scream to hear your voice echo! At the factory you get to see how tea is made from leaves.

Day 5. Drive to one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range--Thekaddy. The drive to this sanctuary is an attraction in itself. Savor the greenery and the wilderness of the highland.

Day 6. Explore the exotic wildlife expedition, then go for a spice plantation tour.

Day 7. Connecting Kumarakom and Cochin, Alleppey also boast of its backwater surroundings much like Kumarakom. Other than houseboat cruises, you can enjoy the sandy beaches of the area.

Day 8. As the place sits by the Arabian Sea, you can frolic in the sand, bask yourself under the sun and relish the waves on the beach.

Day 9. Travel back to Cochin. Visit Athirapalli Waterfalls and wonder at a beauty like no other. 

Day 10. Get a tour of the city and see other attractions within the area. Spend the remainder of the day shopping at Cochin's malls.

Day 11. From the hotel, transfer to the airport for your next destination.

Day 5. From the highlands, return to Cochin. Visit Athirapalli Waterfalls, be one with nature and immerse yourself with the beauty of the surroundings.

Day 6. Go for some shopping at Cochin's malls. Visit Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, and other tourist attractions around the area.

Day 7. From the hotel, transfer to the airport for your next destination.
